| A welcome Fairtrade cuppa |
Welcome to Albony Guest House in the delightful
harbour village of Portpatrick in south-west Scotland.
Portpatrick is the perfect place to get
away from the hustle and bustle of modern living and enjoy all that this stunningly beautiful part of the country has to offer.
We should know, beause we left our hectic life in London to relocate to this idyllic setting which we love to share with others
at every opportunity.
The village benefits from the warm air of the Gulf Stream, so sub-tropical
plants are a common sight here, especially in the nearby Royal Botanic Gardens at Port Logan and even in our own garden!
We are only six miles from the port of Stranraer, making Portpatrick an ideal location for visitors from both
Ireland and mainland Britain.
For the energetic, Portpatrick is also the starting point of the
212-mile coast-to-coast Southern Upland Way to Cockburnspath on the east coast of Scotland.
Everyone
is warmly welcomed at the Albony. We serve Fairtrade products such as tea and coffee which reflects our own commitment to
ethical and sustainable trading issues. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and those requiring gluten-free products.
We offer both B&B and room-only options and children under 12 can stay free. For those requiring Breakfast,
there are no set breakfast times - you choose when it’s convenient for you - and we also offer packed lunches.
We look forward to welcoming you to Portpatrick and the Albony Guest House soon!
